Covenant Food Pantry
Nourishing Others in Our Community
Our Food Pantry
A Covenant Cares Ministry
The Covenant Food Pantry was established in 2011 to help with the problem of food insecurity within our Austin community especially in the surrounding zip codes.
Our operations take place on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-5:30pm inside the church. We do not meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

How We Serve
We Welcome You into Our Church to Serve You
You enter the church and are directed through a short registration process. You do not have to bring anything for the registration. After this process is completed, you are given items such as canned and non-perishable foods, fresh produce, meat, eggs, diapers, toiletries, and more.
*Bob Weeks and Vickie Maxson are our contact persons for the Food Pantry.
Making A Difference Together
Our Partners
We receive most of our food thanks to our partnership with the Central Texas Food Bank! Due to the amount of food we order each week, the food bank has been delivering our order which saves us an enormous amount of time and money. We also partner with the Austin Diaper Bank who provides nearly 8,000 diapers and related products each month! And we partner with Walmart for miscellaneous items.
The food pantry is fortunate to periodically receive and then handout fresh produce from local community gardens such as the Adelphi Acre Community Garden and the Lamplight Village Community Garden.
How To Help
Food Donations
We also welcome and receive donations of food and funds from individuals from both church members and the local community. Donations may be dropped off anytime during the week in our large black donation bin, located next to the back ramp near the playground. Also, we welcome volunteers to help on Wednesdays preparing for and working in our Covenant Food Pantry.
