Using Our Beautiful Space

Covenant United Methodist Church (CUMC) provides an affordable option for a variety of events. Space at CUMC can be reserved for an hour-long meeting or an all-day event.

CUMC Building and Grounds

  • Sanctuary/Narthex

    Our Sanctuary is large with beautiful stained glass windows and a large stage. Rental options may be available for the sound system and video screens for an additional fee.

    Rental of the sanctuary includes the Narthex, which is the main lobby area.

  • Fellowship Hall

    Our Fellowship Hall is a large space with moveable chairs and tables. There is a stage and it has a lovely stained glass window. Our spacious kitchen is connected to it.

  • Education Wing - Room 114

    Room 114 in our Educational Wing is great for group meetings, including children and youth activities. The room is quite large for a medium size groups to meet and have activities.

  • Education Wing - Room 127

    Room 127 in our Educational Wing is great for group meetings, including children and youth activities. The room is quite large for a medium size groups to meet and have activities.

  • Joy Room

    Our Joy Room is the large room that is connected to our sanctuary. A couple of tables fit easily in this room.

  • Outside Space

    We have a beautiful outside area with an outdoor worship space, a playground, and prayer labyrinth.

Facilities Reservation Form​

Please fill out this form to request that your event be added to the church calendar and/or to request a room reservation. You may also print and send in the Facilities Reservation Form by hand.

For more information, please see the Facility Use Policy.  Additional fees may apply for audio/visual use or childcare.  A 30 day notice may be required to assure reservation.

Those in the church office do not have information on facility rentals. We will get back to you as soon as we are able following receiving your reservation request.

 FAQs

 

  • We except payments by check and electronically at https://www.covenantaustin.org/give. We ask that the security deposit be provided by check in a stamped, self-addressed envelop.

  • Yes! You can schedule a 15-minute walkthrough after you have submitted your reservation request form.

  • No. Please be sure to reserve enough time before and after your event for set up and tear down.

  • We require that all events end and subsequent clean up be completed by 9 PM.

  • No, we do not offer discounts for non-profit organizations.

  • Yes, a security deposit is required for all event reservations.

  • Events in the Fellowship Hall and Outside Spaces are welcome to provide food and drinks. However, other spaces may not have food or drinks.

  • Yes. If the spaces are available, you can rent multiple spaces simultaneously.

  • Please refer to the calendar on this page to determine if the space you would like to rent is available for your desired date and time.

  • Yes, someone from the church will be there to let you into the facility.
