Using Our Beautiful Space

Covenant United Methodist Church provides an affordable option for a variety of events. Our facilities include the Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, meeting rooms in our Education Wing, the Joy Room, and beautiful outdoor spaces with a prayer labyrinth.

All facility use is subject to our policies and availability. Please review our Facility Use Policy before submitting a reservation request.

Sanctuary & Narthex

$250/hour

Our Sanctuary is large with beautiful stained glass windows and a large stage. Rental includes the Narthex (main lobby area).

Fellowship Hall

$200/hour

A large space with moveable chairs and tables, a stage, and kitchen access available.

Room 114 (Education Wing)

$50/hour

Great for group meetings, including children and youth activities.

Room 127 (Education Wing)

$50/hour

Great for group meetings, including children and youth activities.

Joy Room

$50/hour

Connected to our sanctuary, this room fits a couple of tables easily and works well for smaller gatherings.

Outside Space

$50/hour

Beautiful outdoor area with an outdoor worship space, playground, and prayer labyrinth.

Additional fees may apply for audio/visual use or childcare. A 30 day notice may be required.

Please do not call the office. Those in the church office do not have information on facility rentals. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I make payments?

We accept payments electronically at covenantaustin.org/give. We ask that the security deposit be provided by check.

Can I come look at the facility?

Yes! You can schedule a 15-minute walkthrough after you have submitted your reservation request.

Can I arrive before my reservation time to set up?

No. Please be sure to reserve enough time before and after your event for setup and tear down.

What is the latest time I can reserve?

We require that all events end and subsequent clean up be completed by 9 PM.

Do I need to provide a security deposit?

Yes, a security deposit is required for all event reservations.

When do I need to make the final payment?

The final payment must be provided no later than the week before your event.

Can I have food at my event?

Events in the Fellowship Hall and Outside Spaces are welcome to provide food and drinks. Food and drink is only allowed in the Fellowship Hall — if you intend to have food, please reserve the Fellowship Hall along with your other space.

Can I rent more than one space at a time?

Yes. If the spaces are available, you can rent multiple spaces simultaneously.

Will someone be there to let me into the church?

Yes, someone from the church will be there to let you into the facility.

May I use glitter at my event?

No. Glitter is strictly prohibited in all areas of the church and will result in the loss of your security deposit.
